Project 365 .... Week 1 (1-1-12-1-7-12)

Until (hopefully next week) we get Photoshop, I am going to post my pictures in a collage that isn't my first choice, but it will work! I still have a lot to post about and will get to it soon! But for now, here is week one of 2012.

Jan 1st - We spent the day at the beach - Justin did some surf fishing and I read a magazine. We were very thrilled to ring in 2012 in the sun and at the beach!
Jan 2nd - pictures and words can't even begin to explain this day. I am such a very lucky girl!
Jan 3rd - our Bowl game tickets finally got delivered! We were ecstatic!

Jan 4th - The final score of the Orange Bowl game. WVU 70 Clemson 33. What an awesome game to be at. It was really an amazing WVU sporting experience!
Jan 5th - Justin and his dad went to Peir fishing while his Mom and I had a spa day
Jan 6th - Our last day at the beach.
Jan 7th - Buster in the back ready to come home!

7 quick takes....

  1. Ahhhh, Friday! It is my favorite day of the work week! Today should be a pretty easy and calm day. I have already completed my first hour (9 more to go). Work is going really well, it is fusturating being in Early Childhood because  I know I will never be rich, but I am Ok with it.... most days :p
  2. College Game Day came to Morgantown last weekend. It was fabulous! We had 21 hours of college football. A bit tiring but totally worth it. The game was awesome too. Even if we didn't win. Isn't this picture awesome?

The Gold you see waving is WVU towels, 60,000+ waving is an awesome sight!

3. We are still waiting to hear the results of my dad's biopsy. We should know something sooner than later. We are still all really postive. His surgery went well and now we just have to wait.
4. Bow (deer) Season starts in WV tomorrow. I will be a hunting widow.
5. I am hoping to spend Sunday and Monday working on the house and putting up more Fall/Halloween decorations. There is a chance of snow flurries in our forcast for this weekend. I.AM.NOT.READY.FOR.SNOW
6. In 11 weeks it will be Christmas. I can't believe this year is almost done. It really has flown by!
7. Lastly, I will leave you of two of my favorite pictures from my brithday weekened. Family X2

A Picture Post...

Camo and Glocks, two words that used to NOT be in my vocabulary.

My sweet Buster. He is my baby, I am that dog person. Don't judge :P

Saturday we went and found Ramps. Yummy and such a nice day to spend outdoors.

I love his little half smile. I am pretty sure there isn't anything I don't love about him though.

Buster loved being outside yesterday. He ran and ran, he has done so well with the move and all the transitions. I really am blessed.

7 quick takes...

1. February is here. I always look forward to February, it is a short month and March is just around the corner - March to me means Spring. I know we can still get snow in March but still March to me is spring.
2. I think we have decided on a Fondue night at home for Valentine's Day. Any one have any experience with Fondue at home? Please share your tips :)
3. I am loving the The Happiness Project - I am going to finish up Chapter 1 this weekend and hopefully Chapter 2 and do my post. It really is a great book and full of inspiration and statements that make you say, Duh, why didn't I think of that.
4. Take a minute and check out The Love Bomb Team - they have such an awesome platform and it is such a neat idea. It takes literally 2 minutes every week to do something great for some one else. It is free, easy and makes others feel better... Really what could be better?
5. It is the end of week one of the two week wait for the new job. Ugh. I need to hear something. Soon.
6. I tried the new McDonald's oatmeal this morning, it was really really good. I was surprised. Try some, you may like it too.
7. We are finally picking up our couch this weekend. Things are slowly coming together. I am excited to get settled and have one home. Now if I could only talk him into upgrading his cable to the next package so I could have Bravo I would be ecstatic... (ahemmm, love you ;) )

The Joy of Love Day 4

Today is all about what he wears....

Justin is as basic as  you can get when it comes to fashion. He loves his Levi's, Camo WVU hat, old work boots and a T-shirt.... But for some reason he can pull it off and the sight of any of these things makes my heart flutter....

His most favorite thing to wear has to be anything Camo - because when Camo is involved that means hunting or fishing.... (ha he as a good sport and went and put on his camo suit so I could snap a quick pick)
He even likes to wear fuzzy hats....
But as corny as it is, my favorite thing he wears is that smile....
(blocked out the work shirt logo)

Now the other love of my life wears clothes too... He just isn't as picky.....

joy of love: day 01 & 02

The Joy of Love workshop  has started on the 1st but after I read about it today I didn't care, I had to do to it.  It's all about snapping pics of the ones you love. You are given a new theme every day and a few tips and told to go at it. I am always excited to take pictures and any help I can get, I need.  I am cheating, I am not using my actual camera for the first two days, rather my iPhone - but I didn't want to get too far behind, I promise from here on out current and camera taken pictures.

The first day's theme was  "what they do."  The first "they" is Justin, you'll see a lot of him in the next 28 days...

Day 2 - Theme - How he looks...

Meet Buster, the other man in my life....
