Pet Exchange

The lovely Ms. Sarah hosted a Pet Gift Exchange.  Buster and I got paired up with her and her adorable little girl, Lucy.

I had so much fun buying pink girl dog toys and looking at all the Frilly doggy items!

Buster was very happy to receive the package from Sarah and Lucy. Buster LOVES getting packages. He loves to rip open the paper and find treats. He wasn't disappointed this time!

All about out Pets.

This week's Show us Your Life is All About Pets! Kelly does such awesome SUYL post, I haven't got to participate in one recently but I knew I HAD to do this weeks!

For those of you that know me, know how much I love Buster. For a long time it was just me and him. He is very spoiled and loved VERY much. When Justin and I first started dating he told me he wasn't a fan of small dogs and didn't understand why anyone would have one. That attitude didn't last long. Buster is now happy that he has both a Mommy and a Daddy that loves him to pieces.

Buster came to live with me after my best friend's mom decided her crazy schedule wasn't conducive to such a little puppy. He came into my life two years ago (he's three) and I honestly can't imagine not having him.

Buster is a Boston Terrier.  He loves to be around people and especially loves to snuggle with you in bed or on the couch.

He has no fears. He loves to go outside and run chase deer/horses, bully play with other dogs and just be with us.

We took him on our first family vacation this summer. Both sets of his grandparents adore him too. Justin's mom lives on the same street as us, so she gets to doggy sit two times a week when our class/work schedules are too long!

Being a WVU fan was in his blood from day one! He loves  tolerates letting me dress him up and is such a great sport about it!

Buster really is part of our family. It is amazing how much he adds to our life and how much joy he brings us.  I would highly recommend a Boston to any one. He is the perfect fit in our family!

A Picture Post...

Camo and Glocks, two words that used to NOT be in my vocabulary.

My sweet Buster. He is my baby, I am that dog person. Don't judge :P

Saturday we went and found Ramps. Yummy and such a nice day to spend outdoors.

I love his little half smile. I am pretty sure there isn't anything I don't love about him though.

Buster loved being outside yesterday. He ran and ran, he has done so well with the move and all the transitions. I really am blessed.

Catching up

So Job #1 - They still aren't ready to make a choice.  They want to wait until the end of April. They want me to teach class in early April. I feel like they are stringing me a long. Not sure how I feel - the money, ah the money would be grand but for now I am going to chalk it up to not the right timing and move on.

I have an interview with another company Friday. I need something to give. For the love of everything, something give.  This job is less money, but summers and all school breaks off. I would maybe end up getting a part time job. I'd love to babysit under the table for the summer but again, we shall see.

Justin and I had an unexpected "double date" last night. I have been feeling horrible and exhausted. I did NOT feel like cooking so we headed to The Outback for a quick dinner and ran into his friends. It was nice eating with them...I only wished I'd done some makeup and not worn a sweatshirt. Sigh.

My dog and roommate's dog decided to trash my apartment last night. This is the FIRST (and better be last) time either one of them have ever done something like this. They both were sooooo sorry last night they didn't move. I was afraid of upset stomachs all night (knock on wood), so far so good.... I really came home and thought someone had broke in my apartment and trashed it. Silly (urrrr) dogs.

Justin is ordering his Nikon D90 ( I think, I maybe wrong what it is called) this weekend. I can't wait for him to get it so he can practice (or so I can take awesome pictures for the rest of the Days of Love Photo blog post)...

We are also going to visit my family Friday night for some dinner and what not, even though it seems so far away it is only a little over an hour so we will come home Friday night.

I am only working a half a day today (annual check up) then off tomorrow for the interview and what not. I am really hopeful and really excited. Please keep your fingers crossed for me :-)

The Joy of Love Day 4

Today is all about what he wears....

Justin is as basic as  you can get when it comes to fashion. He loves his Levi's, Camo WVU hat, old work boots and a T-shirt.... But for some reason he can pull it off and the sight of any of these things makes my heart flutter....

His most favorite thing to wear has to be anything Camo - because when Camo is involved that means hunting or fishing.... (ha he as a good sport and went and put on his camo suit so I could snap a quick pick)
He even likes to wear fuzzy hats....
But as corny as it is, my favorite thing he wears is that smile....
(blocked out the work shirt logo)

Now the other love of my life wears clothes too... He just isn't as picky.....
