Joy of Love Day 5

Day 5 - You KNOW your loved one does something that drives you NUTS (but you LOVE to complain about it and the day just wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t have to complain about it).  Capture it…

I love that Justin is passionate about his blog - awesome opportunities are coming his way because of blogging. And I am happy because he is happy. But sometimes at the end of the day or during a conversation I want to throw the computer out the window  urrrr  tell him to please close the computer and focus on me hehehe

Day 6, 7 & 8 will all be tonight :)

The Joy of Love Day 4

Today is all about what he wears....

Justin is as basic as  you can get when it comes to fashion. He loves his Levi's, Camo WVU hat, old work boots and a T-shirt.... But for some reason he can pull it off and the sight of any of these things makes my heart flutter....

His most favorite thing to wear has to be anything Camo - because when Camo is involved that means hunting or fishing.... (ha he as a good sport and went and put on his camo suit so I could snap a quick pick)
He even likes to wear fuzzy hats....
But as corny as it is, my favorite thing he wears is that smile....
(blocked out the work shirt logo)

Now the other love of my life wears clothes too... He just isn't as picky.....

The Joy of Love Day 3

Today's topic is Then and Now.... I had an idea for this but it didn't work out, So I am going to leave you  with these two pictures... The first one many of you have seen before, it is from the first offical time Justin and I met each other...I was so nervous and excited. The next picture was taken a few weeks ago, we went to dinner with a group of friends. As you can see I no longer have nerves around him but I am more at peace, lol... Thanks for looking

joy of love: day 01 & 02

The Joy of Love workshop  has started on the 1st but after I read about it today I didn't care, I had to do to it.  It's all about snapping pics of the ones you love. You are given a new theme every day and a few tips and told to go at it. I am always excited to take pictures and any help I can get, I need.  I am cheating, I am not using my actual camera for the first two days, rather my iPhone - but I didn't want to get too far behind, I promise from here on out current and camera taken pictures.

The first day's theme was  "what they do."  The first "they" is Justin, you'll see a lot of him in the next 28 days...

Day 2 - Theme - How he looks...

Meet Buster, the other man in my life....

Another Ramble...

  • I still haven't heard anything about the job. They said in the next two weeks. It is day 3 of week 1. Seriously people, you are killing me. Offer me the stupid job already. I want to work there. Please and thank you!
  • Tonight is a home WVU basketball game. I have enjoyed my season tickets and have loved going. I also enjoyed the price break my current job gives me on those season tickets.  If I get a new job the price break is gone and I will no longer be a season ticket holder. Plus with moving a gazillion hours away being a season ticket holder doesn't really work out.  Who knows, the way it is looking both Justin and I will be full time students so we may just brush off our student I.D. and sit in the student section for free....

  • I bought my book The Happiness Project I finished the intro last night, I will do a separate blog post about it, but let me just tell you I love it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Seriously, if y'all are trying to figure out how to add a little more happiness into your already happy life...pick up the book and join the book club. You aren't too late!
  • Notice the countdown at the end of the blog, must start getting organized. Big things are happening sooner than later.

  • Justin and I are planning a stay-at-home Valentine's Day - he shows me every day a million ways how much he loves me...there is no reason to fight the crowds just to eat out because Hallmark tells me so, lol. I have already started to break out the V-Day decorations and make the house look festive... Do you have any cute DYI chap Valentine crafts? Do you have any ideas on what to do for a fun night at home? Any super good dinners to make? Movies to watch? Anything?
  • Speaking of  someone showing me how much he loves me, I came home to these (hydrangeas are my favorite flower) and yes, they were even already in the mason jar with the ribbon around it.
  • This morning when I was reading Sarah's blog when I came across this - (Sarah I plagiarized) "Willette Photography & More is offering a free class that focuses on finding the Joy of Love in your everyday life. They send out daily prompts for the month of February, along with photography tips & tutorials. Not only will this be fun to document our life this way, but I am really looking forward to all of the photography tips...as we all know I need them! You can go here to sign up if you'd like to participate, too." Now Sarah is wrong she doesn't need the photography tips, but I do. So I am going to start 2 days late. And I am excited.
  • Buster is mad at Justin. We aren't sure what is going on, or why he is so mad at him but he is acting like a little butthead. I will be spending a lot of time Googleing pet issues today.
  • It was warmer than it has been in a long time when I woke up today. I am so ready for spring, I can feel it in the air, luckily Phil didn't see his shadow (not that I believe in that) so hopefully spring will be here SOON!
