After a million trips last weekend and a lot of sleepless nights, I am officially moved in with Justin. Now, moved in in the sense that all my stuff is here. I am living in boxes and chaos but I am here. Today is the day I will unpack and organize. That's my goal at least.
We have had a long weekend. We had a bad storm that killed our power. This wouldn't be such a big deal but Justin's parent's house has to be kept on a generator due to flooding in the basement and a pump in the basement. Again not a big deal if the generator would have started within the first three hours of trying. And usually this wouldn't keep us up all night but Justin's parents were at the beach house so it was our issue. The next night we went to bed at 6:30, lol.
I started my new job this week. So far so good. I feel like this is where my heart is telling me to be and I really am glad I made this choice.
Other than that this week has been pretty normal. We are just trying to get the house organized, get used to the new schedule and figure out how to make everything work for the both of us :)

Goodbye Old, Hello New
1. Today is my last day at my current job. I am not nearly as sad as I thought I'd be. I am excited. Excited to see what the future holds and where my new job will take me.
2. This weekend is my last weekend in my apartment. In another two loads of stuff I will be officially living with Justin. Home is where the heart is....
3. Today we left Buster for the first time ALL day at the new house. Justin's dad is stopping by a little after 4 to check on him and give him a potty break since we will be home late (we are gathering another load today). It is a trial run thatneeds HAS to do well. He will be home for 8-9 hours a day now....
4. It is amazing weather here today. Perfect for moving. Please say a prayer that the rain holds off.
5. Last night I tried my first green beer. Please don't laugh.
6. I really wasn't sure how I would feel - new job, new house lots of new in my life. But I am 100% at peace with my choices and feel really REALLY good about everything. Justin seems to be too, at least I hope he is. HA
7. And last but not least, How 'bout those Mountaineers?! I love March Madness.

7 quick Takes...
1. I am going to take the new job. The one I interviewed for and they debated. I am excited, scared and anxious. I am almost 100% sure this is the right choice. Justin is on board and so are our families. I am excited for the next chapter in my life to unfold.
2. I had my annual eye exam today. Perfect 20/20 vision. The Dr. did recommend computer glasses because I spend so much time (at current job) on the computer. I may go ahead and get a cheap pair, can't hurt. Right?
3. Justin and I are going to visit my parents tonight to celebrate my Dad's 49th Birthday (it was yesterday). Not only am I excited to go home for a few hours, I am excited to play with my parents new pup, Alphie.
4. I washed Justin's brand new way too expensive phone. Oops :( Luckily, rice, a space heater and hair dryer were able to fix it. Sorry, Babe.
5. It is soon going to be March. I have slacked long enough running wise. It is time to bite the bullet and run.
6. Our football schedule was announced today, sadly not one home night (during the week) game this year. That is a huge fail in my opinion and I am very disappointed. On a positive note, this is Head Coach Stew's last year. That leaves little room for sadness and disappointment.
7. I went back to my roots. My dark haired roots. I actually like it. Right now. We shall see how dark I can be once the greys start popping back through....

Wellllllllllllllll
This is my new PO Box slip.. I had to get on because the town the boy lives in doesn't deliver. I am not going to lie, it seemed so official. I am moving soon.
Oh and remember Job #1, the one that didn't want me? Well turns out they do. They called today. I think I am going to take it. I am sure y'all will be happy when I choose, so you can stop reading about the job dilemma.
I am pretty much going into this job with an open slate. I know nothing or very little about the school and really have no idea what direction this job title will take me in.
I do think I am going to negotiate a little with the salary and some of the perks and see if and what they budge on.
I think my mind is made up. I think I am leaving the comfort of my job and the stress of it and trying something new.... I think

7 Quick Things - The Job edition
1. I go to do my finger prints and paper work for new job. I new job I am almost 100% sure I want. My heart and head hurt from the thinking. This job provides a lot of great opportunities. I think. I want to be 100% sure of the the details before I quit my current job. I have a love/hate relationship with my current job. I love the University, I love the flexibility, I love the benefits but I hate the politics, the drama, the stress and the pay.
2. This new job would offer me summers off. Isn't that AWESOME. I also just got a phone call about a summer job. Everything does happen for a reason
3. If I stayed at my current job, I'd put in to be moved. I do not like a lot of things that have been happening. However - there are a lot of new and exciting things that are going to be happening here and I do love parts of this job. Again I am torn.
4. The new job is half the commute and I do get all snow days off. My work day is 7:30-3:30 - My day would be 7-4 (commute included) that isn't bad - I could be home, have dinner started, exercise and still have a lot more of my evening.
5. Justin is going back to school in the Fall, this would give us less money but more time together. Everything always works out, right?
6. My insurance premium would double, I'd bring home less money - but then again - Summers and Snow days would be off
7. Can you tell I am torn? I go in today and I am hoping for some clarity and answers. I have to jump, take a leap of faith but I am not sure when and how to do it.....

Last night...
Last night after heading home from a very disappointing basketball game my head and heart were all over the place. We were all talking (Justin and 2 friends) about things and someone asked if I had heard anything from the possible new job, I had to say no - but remember it is only Day 1 of Week 2. They promised by the end of week 2 they'd call. As soon as I said that I proclaimed that I wish I would have perused the teaching job closer to the new house a little more. Justin agreed. We both talked about how we could make the pay decrease work and it would have worked out. Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda Talk. Until 10 minutes ago. When the teaching job just called for an interview THIS Friday at 10:30 -
I am not sure I believe in signs, but if I did - this would be one, right?
