A Pin a Day...

I love Pinterest, no secret. I love scouring for the best weight loss motivation/tips/ideas/ and healthy things I can find... I also love sharing them....

These homemade detox drinks for weight loss are a natural way to melt the fat fast. Detoxification removes toxins and helps you reach your weight loss goals in a relatively short period of time. So naturally it’s a good idea to detox your body on a regular basis.

What a great idea, but I don't want my weight on display lol!
Staying motivated and dedicated mentally is the most crucial part of weight loss. Reminding myself of my goals every morning, creating rules to reach my goals, being positive about weight loss, loving my body unconditionally whether progress is fast or slow, and celebrating each goal weight has made this very long journey possible.
How true is this??

Happy Wednesday

We woke up to snow, icy road conditions and below normal temperatures. I, along with a lot of other people, am praying this is our last Spring snow and sunshine is on the way soon!

I am home from work for a few hours while I wait on the washer repairman to come. Suddenly, our almost new, won't drain. I am looking forward to the washer being fixed but not the price to fix it.

Yesterday, I shared a tiny bit of what I am eating. I got a few emails asking for some recipes/examples of dinners. So I thought today would be the perfect day to share!

Below are next week's dinner plans...

I am "cooking" 3 nights next week, Justin works late 3 nights next week so I figured we'd have 2 dinners together, I'd make the 3rd meal for left overs, something for me to eat and for him when he gets off work.  (I'll eat leftovers the other nights) I also want to try to find something sweet that I love and is low points so I am going to try the peanut butter cookies.

Yummy, The Buffalo Meatloaf cups look super easy!
Skinny Buffalo Chicken Beatloaf Bites - I have a (full sized) meatloaf version of this on my Shrinking On a Budget Meal Plan. But I adore the idea of the individual servings. This lends itself to customizing for a picky eater - or for a family member who likes extra spicy!

5 WW Points+ of creamy, cheesy comfort. Perfect for a busy weeknight Family Dinner. Customizable and Picky Eater approved!

It's HUMP DAY!!!!!!

Cover art
Happy Wednesday! We have been blessed with snow the past few days. Yesterday we closed work at 3 so I got to go home a little early, which was nice! I spent some time reading my new book, which I am 3 chapters in and pleasently surprised at how much I like it. I love Crystal's blog and get so many awesome tips/ideas for her! If you haven't checked it out, put it on your to-do list.

I of course watched Biggest Loser last night. Makeover week is my favorite!!! Did you watch? What did you think! Wasn't David a fox? I won't spoil it for anyone that didn't watch yet, but again put it on your to-do list!

I have got a few emails asking me what I have been cooking for dinner to keep me full and low in points. I am going to show you a few of my favorites! If you don't follow me on Pinterest, you should! I am a food posting junkie! Do you pin? If so leave your Pinterest name so I can follow you!

This is one of my go-to Crock Pot meals. It is yummy, full of flavor and low in points. And did I mention easy? --

7 Quick Takes

  1. It is going to be 50 degrees for the next 5 days or so. I am hoping the warm weather continues but I will be thankful for whatever I can get! I am dreading the winter cold and snow!
  2. My work has decided to close down for even more days around the holidays. I am SUPER excited. I have also taken the first week off in January so we can go to Florida to visit Justin's parents.
  3. If you haven't heard WVU is moving to the Big 12. I am very excited and can't wait to make a tour of Texas/Oklahoma soon!
  4. Justin and I handed out candy last week, I couldn't believe how many people Trick or Treated for infants (I mean actually wanted children under 1 year to have their own bag of candy)
  5. So in 2 years 8 months I will be 30. Crappppppppp
  6. Do ya'll Pinterest? If not, start and be my friend. You will LOVE IT! If you need an invite let me know :)
  7. Sunday we have to take Justin's mom to the airport, we are going to miss her! But I am excited about IKEA, DSW Shoes and even maybe Cabellas :)
